An upcoming test at her academy requires her to summon a familiar, a servant and partner to support her as a magician. Despite desiring a familiar that would be superior to her constantly mocking classmates, Louise ends up summoning Hiraga Saito, your average Japanese boy. Even with Louise and Saito both unwilling to accept each other, they have no choice. Louise cannot attempt another summoning and Saito cannot return to Japan, and so their life together begins. roanxxx's review and opinions
- Spoiler:
- I don't particularly want to watch this anime at first, because I can't love an anime taht is ecchi at the same time harem. (except if the guy is cool and my type)
But due to some circumstances (like taking time to heal my heart for watching so much anime drama) I decided to watch this with the intention of having some dose light-hearted comedy, like what some reviews says. But I was deceived!
I don't get much of light-hearted thingy but a bunch of fan service that a girl like me can't take. Now I know why my guy-friend like this one.
The plot is not much appealing, like any other fantasy/romance out there where the guy is transported to the other world and then fall inlove with the girl who summons her. But I love how the protagonists' romance pace-- not too slow nor too quickly for a short series. But despite of ZnT's comedy, ecchiness and outright siliness, they brought out a short but good story arc that adds the flavor into it every season.
Characters, oh how I love some of the characters! The cute-tsundere main heroine and her dumb-H'ERO' dog, the busty-popular-popular-with-guys lady, the forthright rival maid, and the quiet Yuki Nagato clone whom I love the most. XD These are some of the typical harem genre characters list. And oh, I almost forgot that I love their change/progress over time, and I just think some will love it too.
As for the art, I will say once that if you are finding an anime with realistic art then you will not find it here.
Overall, I guess I enjoy the anime. I can't recommend it at first but I can say for now that if you're going to find a a tale of politics and ecchi romance comedy, then this anime is worth a shot.
