The Latest game in the series is LIGHTNING RETURNS FINAL FANTASY for both XBOX360 and PLAYSTATION3
While the upcoming game is the FINAL FANTASY PROJECT for the PLAYSTATION 4

Here's a brief backgroud about the Final Fantasy Video Game Franchise...

- Final Fantasy, a media franchise created by Hironobu Sakaguchi, and is developed and owned by Square Enix (formerly Square). The franchise centers around a series of fantasy and science fantasy role-playing video games (RPGs), but includes motion pictures, anime, printed media, and other merchandise. The first game in the series, published in 1987, was conceived by Sakaguchi as his last-ditch effort in the game industry; the title was a success and spawned sequels. The video game series has since branched into other genres such as tactical role-playing, action role-playing, massively multiplayer online role-playing, racing, third-person shooter, fighting, and rhythm.

Actually I have 50-50% chance of playing it...what I like about FFXIV is the graphics thought I don't like the idea of another Online Role Play game

FF Versus XIII has become Final Fantasy XV...the game will be for the upcoming Playstation 4...any thoughts about it?
