Random Japanese Superstitions/Beliefs 01

Share ko mga natututunan ko sa pagbabasa ng iba't ibang books at manga, then anime.. Smile

Alam nyo ba na may superstitions ang mga japanese na kung mag-hiccup (sinok in tagalog) ka daw ng 100 times, mamamatay ka?

Di pa ko nakakabasa ng ibang books kung bakit sila naniniwala dito. Pero ayon sa scientific explanation, pag nag-hi-hiccup ka daw na pwede yun mag-result ng brain tumor or strokes. Pero hindi naman lahat ng hiccups fatal, yung mga hindi lang daw tumitigil ng ilang araw na...

At ang dahilan naman ng hiccups are spicy food, alcoholic beverages na nakaka-irritate ng diaphragm na mag-re-result nga ng hiccups.

So, kahit hindi totoo yung beliefs/superstition na to, dapat lang tandaan lagi na "lahat ng sobra, ay masama!"

the 100 hiccup belief...the classic scare hahahaha but what's even more extreme is the chain letters

Yeah I forgot about that...that superstition really freaks me out
