Official Threads Phase 2: AOT and MOT

I decided to implement the creation of Official Threads as Phase 2 for our forum changes, which will be designated by the [OT] in the title. These threads will be created near the launch of the anime/manga. The first post of the thread must contain info about the series. An example below :

Title: NARUTO
Author: Masashi Kishimoto
Release Date: November 1999

Twelve years before the start of the series, the Nine-Tailed Demon Fox attacked Konohagakure destroying much of the village and taking many lives. The leader of the village, the Fourth Hokage sacrificed his life to seal the Nine-Tails into a newborn, Naruto Uzumaki. Orphaned by the attack, Naruto was shunned by the villagers, who out of fear and anger, viewed him as the Nine-Tails itself. Though the Third Hokage outlawed speaking about anything related to the Nine-Tails, the children — taking their cues from their parents — inherited the same animosity towards Naruto. In his thirst to be acknowledged, Naruto vowed he would one day become the greatest Hokage the village had ever seen.

We will have two kinds of Official Threads. One is for anime and one is for manga. 


The official tag for anime is [AOT] and for manga is [MOT]. Easy to get the idea.



So you can see, it is a vast improvement to what we have now.  For the summary, wikipedia is your friend.

This feature will help AnimePH big time.

Q: Who can create these threads?
A: Anyone can. You just need to be a member of our forum.


Q: What about news about the anime?
A: We have our own section for Anime News. Don't reply important news and events of the series to its Official Thread.

Q: What if no one wants to create an [OT] of a series?
A: Then the previous game thread like the initial game announcement thread will live on and hopefully in the future someone will volunteer


Q: What will we get if we volunteer?
A: Special- errrr. Rewards.


Q: What about old anime/manga? Can we make OTs for them?
A: Of course! Just don't forget to put the stuff I mentioned above.
