One of my Anticipated anime's in fall 2013 and I love it...after watching the first episode..and I can't wait for the next until the finale...I just hope it will have 26 episodes since the manga is 18+ volumes already

What are your thoughts for about Coppelion?

- Coppelion (コッペリオン Kopperion?) is a Japanese seinen manga series written and illustrated by Tomonori Inoue. The story follows three high school girls who were genetically engineered to be impervious to radioactivity and sent to Tokyo after the city was contaminated by a nuclear accident. An anime adaption by GoHands began airing on October 2, 2013 in Japan with a simulcast airing on the same day in Asia on Animax Asia and was also obtained by Viz Media for simulcast streaming on their online service Viz Anime.
Plot

- In 2016, a catastrophe occurs after a nuclear meltdown from the nearby Odaiba nuclear power plant contaminates Tokyo, forcing the government to order its citizens to evacuate. 20 years later, Tokyo has become a ghost town due to the high levels of radiation which the government has banned entry for anyone. When a distress signal is received from Tokyo, the Japan Ground Self-Defense Force dispatches 3 teenage girls from the Dispatch 3 Special Force Coppelion. Due to genetic engineering, the Coppelions are immune to radiation while also possessing special skills. Thus the Coppelions journey to the ruined capital to find survivors.

School girl uniforms are almost everywhere now, the animation is a bit down, but the story is amazing so it doesn't really matter.

Yep I have to agree with the animation...it's really resembles K (though GoHands is responsible for the production and all) it would be better if they improve it more but story is truly fantastic...I really wish Viz Media will get the manga series for english licensing

Viz Media already got the anime for online streaming Via Hulu that's for sure Viz Media will have the english version of the anime really soon...Funimation doesn't release english version of manga only anime...I'm hoping viz media will get the manga sooner
