The official website for the Monogatari Series Second Season anime began streaming the first promotional video for the anime adaptation of NisiOisin's Nekomonogatari (White) novel on Thursday. The anime will premiere in Japan on July 6 on various Japanese television stations. Web streaming of the episode is also planned.


The Nekomonogatari (Shiro) anime takes place after the events of Nekomonogatari (Black), and continue to tell the story of Bakemonogatari hero Koyomi Araragi's spectacled classmate Tsubasa Hanekawa. The promotional video notes that it is a “story of betrayal.”
