Personality
~Normally Shiro appears to be a naive, carefree person who loves sweets. In moments of danger, she becomes overprotective about those she cares about. When Ganta was in a depression, she did whatever she could to get him to his old self again.

Split Personality: Wretched Egg

~Unknown to both Ganta and Shiro, she is the Red Man who killed all of Ganta's classmates. Apparently whenever Shiro goes into this split persona, she can't remember anything. As the Red Man, she wears a costume which makes her appearance: taller, evil, murderous. Yet, she still retains her care for Ganta. It explains why she only killed his classmate hoping he would be framed so he would be put in D.W. with her.

Relationship
Ganta's Friend
~Shiro actually knew Ganta before his imprisonment. Years ago, they were childhood friends. Ganta only remembers minor moments of their friendship, making Shiro upset. Overall, Ganta and Shiro renewed their friendship in Deadman Wonderland. Unfortunately, their friendship has had several bumps; mostly with Ganta getting upset at Shiro because she has done something he believes was wrong. At the end Shiro usually forgives Ganta (because she actually knew more about the situation).
