One of the biggest tactical RPG games made by Intelligent Systems. It clearly gives a new definition to strategy and character classes. I've played a few series myself such as Fire Emblem: Sacred Stones and Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon (currently playing this.)

Wasn't FE: Awakening for 3DS aswell? It's the only series of FE that I really wanna play so much :< It's too bad I don't have a 3DS and don't gots enough money to buy it. Trying to save up though. Could you tell me anything new when you first started playing it?

Tactical RPG...though I didn't finish it...once I have a 3DS I'm definitely going to play it

Yup, you definitely should along with Pokemon X/Y. Those two are a great match when you suddenly get the urge to play an RPG game.
